We regret to announce the death of a long-time priestly friend of the SSPX, Fr. Timothy Hopkins, who passed away during the evening of November 2, the result of an accidental gunshot wound.
The 56-year old Fr. Hopkins was from Great Britain and had pastoral care of the National Shrine of St. Philomena in Miami, Florida for many years, where only the traditional Roman Mass was offered.
The funeral rites for Fr. Hopkins will be held on Monday, November 7th in Miami, where he will be buried.
Please pray for the repose of this priestly soul, particularly during the remaining days of the "octave" dedicated to the Holy Souls.
